I have more than 15 years' experience as a media professional, having filled several leadership positions in the communications field. This includes stints as executive and managing editors, communications director, press secretary, reporter, writer, senior and supervisory public affairs specialists, speechwriter, journalism fellow, and editorial consultant.

I have a proven record of exceptional oral and written communications skills, and senior-level experience in managerial decision-making, policy direction and strategic business planning with a record of unprecedented accomplishment. I function well under pressure, and have worked in different hotspots including Capitol Hill, the Council of the District of Columbia, the D.C. government, and private industry.

I have extensive knowledge of effective communications vehicles including social media strategies, requirements, and operations with excellent results.

Also, I have sat on the board and held chairmanships of committees of my local civic association, the local PTA, and other school-related clubs.
