Born in Singapore, 35-year-old ARUN RAMCHANDANI spent a considerable amount of time in California, New York and Philippines before returning to Singapore to complete his military service as a Fire Direction Specialist.
Arun Ramchandani is a Civil Servant working at Infocom Media Development Authority (IMDA) - Singapore Government as a Trade Consultant in the field of Supply Chain, Logistics Trade and Blockchain Solutions, a double degree graduate in Business and Entrepreneurship from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and Electrical Engineering from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. Arun is also an author of Insights Into Love, Marriage and Divorce: "The Truth Behind the Pretense” - The Timeless Art of Transforming Relationship Trials into Triumphs: A True recount of battling with societal pressures and defamation as a father, husband and son.
After graduating from the university, he works for Schlumberger, the world’s largest oilfield services company.
The company deals with range of things from drilling, pressure pumping, cementing, oil extraction etc.
“Working for a multinational has always been my dream. I know I am an entrepreneur by nature and hope to start my own business soon,” he said.
This cheerful youngster firmly believes that all of us define our own destiny. “We are all here on a journey which can’t be all smooth. Life is bound to have some hurdles, we have to live and learn from them,” he said.
He published a book in 2012, ‘Automatic Billing Counterfeit Detection (ABCD) which quotes -
“Men make counterfeit money; in most cases, money makes counterfeit men.”
In 2023, he is preparing for his launch of "The Truth Behind the Pretense", a narrative comprising of 3 themes namely:- “Misconception”, “Legality Issues in Singapore” and “Survival” across 21 sub-chapters in love, relationships, marriage and divorce. This outlines the trying road to attain justice through arduous relationship hurdles, challenging judiciary systems; coupled with the associated judgement, shame and ostracisation in personal and professional fronts. My goal is to be stronger than yesterday to overcome life’s adversities and show you that you can too. The sun rises every morning and with that so does the promise of a new beginning. Get up, keep going and never stop fighting for what you believe in.”
