Matthew Puglisi

My attitude toward people, work, and life is rooted in my faith as an Orthodox Christian. Therefore, I strive to serve all with love and dignity, and to listen.

I am a first principles Software Engineer, Linux user, and Technologist from the Mid-valley region in Oregon. I am cautiously optimistic about AI, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning, but also keenly aware of the profound ethical implications of this technology on society, privacy, and self-actualization.

My interests vary widely from programming to technology, woodworking to baking, DIY, and many more. Most importantly, and I cannot stress this enough, I live to serve, and nothing gives me greater joy than to meet the needs of others.
