M. Yunus Rafiq

From the twin peaks of Mt. Kilimanjaro and Meru, I was born and raised in Arusha, Tanzania. I am a recent graduate of Yale University where I combined my interest in public health and media based interventions to examine African Islam. Currently, I am pursuing an interest in Medical Anthropology at Brown University with a minor focus on documentary film making. While not studying, I create documentaries, draw sketches with pastel and charcoal, write short stories, compete in Taekwondo and compose poems.
