Michael Rainwater

I am an innovative problem solving executive with hands-on technology experience. I am curently the Director, Software Engineering at Balfour.

As a technical leader, I have helped build and launch a successful startup company that was acquired by ADP in (year). I have also worked in leadership roles in larger enterprises (ADP, Intuit).

As an innovator, I have submitted 8 patents to the USPTO. One patent has been awarded (#7,904,899). I have launched many products over the years. I have experience in highly successful launches and some real lemons. I've learned to swing hard, fail big, take calculated risks, and drive results.

I earned an MBA from University of Phoenix, BS in Mathematics and Computer Science from Newberry College, hold Linux Professional Institute certification and was formerly an MS Certified Professional. I’ve led technical projects for products that received mention in Time Magazine and Business Week, as well as the 2009 Innovation Award from CPA Technology Advisor.
