In education since 1998, Carl is the Director of Innovation & Digital Learning for Eanes ISD in Austin, TX. Aside from his day job he is also a consultant and speaker for his company HookerTech LLC. He's been a featured speaker at many national events including ISTE, SXSWedu, TCEA, Tech Forum, etc. He's also the founder and "Godfather" of the Learning Festival known as iPadpalooza. He was named an Apple Distinguished Educator in 2013 and Tech & Learning Magazine's 2014 Leader of the Year.
