Michael R. Howson

I consider myself to be fresh, charming, and practical; someone who is kind and empathetic, but, also focused and results driven. I am a passionate, talented and resourceful leader. I believe in waging peace and adding value to others. My experience with the Obama campaign and the Florida Democratic Party has sharpened my organizational, writing and speaking skills as well as furthered my ability to help people. I am committed to improving the conditions and opportunities for working class Americans. I’ve found massage therapy has connected me with people in completely new and unexpected ways and that the work ethic, interpersonal and management skills I developed as a therapist are invaluable to me now as a community organizer.
