The Walk from nibbana to Maya and finally after self realization again towards nibbana, had started with my birth, maturity and might end by my death. I was born at a small town of north eastern India & grown up in a nuclear Brahmin family, consisting of mother, father and a younger sister. Along with lots of complex childhood memories propagate by overdose of noxious western influence through parents in an early age, I always found myself alone having a huge friend circle and family. In my initial career as a media professional had opportunity to work with Doordarsan, and blessed to be part of DD Sports, DD India and DD National but later joined the national rural health mission in my native to improve the health condition of my people, losing my wife to the killer disease of SLE. Being interested in art and photography from childhood, wildlife was always a part of life until I became part of Green Earth in 2005, currently doing a research about identity loss and crisis among indigenous tribes, in the North-eastern India.

My broad research interests are focused at understanding human-wildlife interactions and various drivers of biodiversity change in order to minimize conflict to support the sustainable use of wildlife resources in Northeast India. Particularly, I am interested in the application of holistic approaches to support different Indigenous tribes of region to live in harmony with the nature following their ancient tradition and culture, also facilitate them for healthy lifestyle and economic empowerment by nature conservation. On the other end strive to coerce with the local decision-makers under uncertainty in conservation, such as adaptive management and management strategy evaluation by conveying relevant elucidation.

My work combines a number of quantitative and qualitative techniques, such as planning, simulation modelling, data analysis, field visits and semi-structured interviews. Professional experience possess a forward thinking approach to the management of clients and assignments such as behavior change communication, publicity programs, capacity building, documentation and coordination in regard to Government (Health Sector) and Civic Society Organisations (Wildlife, Conservation and Indigenous tribes) for a decade. I am interested in interdisciplinary studies and applying techniques from a number of sciences and ancient studies in conservation, natural resource management, food and healthy lifestyle.
