Kyle Mathews

My name is Kyle Mathews aka Mr. Orange, and I'm an event promoter and DJ in Indianapolis Indiana. I've been hosting events through my production company, Carpe Noctum Events, since April of 2009, and I've been DJing since 2007. Most recently I've teamed up with Keepin' it Deep Events in Indianapolis as their Director of Promotions, where I manage a street team of 20+ members that distribute flyers and help promote upcoming events through social media and other outlets. I'm also the Marketing Director at Gregs Indy, a leading GLBT nightclub in Indianapolis.

I've been called a "Jack of all trades" and a "man with many hats", but those who know me best know that my true passion and devotion in life lies with Electronic Dance Music. The majority of my adult life has been dedicated to experiencing events and educating myself in the business of event production. Nothing gets my blood pumping like organizing a full event, then watching as everything falls into place the day of the show.

When I'm not organizing dance parties, or promoting other events, I try to take as much time to myself for traveling and exploration. I've always considered myself an experience enthusiast, and I live life with the feeling that there are no second chances. I want to see as much of this world as possible in this short time I have on Earth, and the best part about it all is that there are major Electronic Music festivals in most of the places I wish to visit. Almost all of my travels include EDM based events and festivals along the way, which is my perfect way of experiencing the world in a form that works for me.
