Passion:
One of my passions is my fraternity, Kappa Sigma. I am one of the 60 Founding Fathers of the Gamma-Delta chapter of Kappa Sigma at UMass Amherst. Joining this fraternity was one of the greatest decisions of my life so far. Being a part of such a prestigious organization provides tremendous networking opportunities, a strong sense of brotherhood, and connections that will last a lifetime. Fraternities are typically associated with partying, but that is certainly not what we stand for. Kappa Sigma is known for our strong senses of fellowship, leadership, scholarship, and service. I absolutely love being in Kappa Sigma for many reasons including the fun yet supportive set of brothers we have, the fantastic service we do for our environment and community, and how we have become one of the best fraternities on campus in basically a year and a half. We have about 75 brothers right now and a pledge class of 12 so, we are easily one of the top three best fraternities on campus.
Future Plans:
My future plans and aspirations include fulfilling my major in Hospitality & Tourism Management and my minor in Spanish and potentially working in international business. I am studying abroad in Spain in the Spring and hopefully I will become fluent in Spanish. With my Spanish skills, I hope to be able to work for a company that needs people who can speak both English and Spanish.
