The goal of education is to get students to learn to love learning. In Room Nine at Lincoln Elementary School, that's what we strive to do every day. Through interactive lessons, hands-on experiments, and even some good old-fashioned reading & writing, students discover that they enjoy learning new things, they also enjoy teaching them to others. That's why I enjoy teaching.
Mrs. Dunbar is the 2006 MUSD Teacher of the Year, the 2010 eInstruction $75,000 Global Classroom Makeover Music Video winner, a successful grant writer (including EETT), a CTAP Conference Presenter as well as a district presenter, an Intel Teach to the Future Master teacher and a multiple California Subject Matter Projects award winner.
