Mrudul Mudotholy

A Mechanical Engineer by training
an Automobile Engineer by profession
and a Musician by Soul!

I am:
Mrudul, born on St. Mary's birthday, Year 86.
(The story behind my date of birth is interesting! Well, I was famous for being patient even before my birth! The story goes that mom never got any hints that I was in a hurry after the due date. Then, the doctor (also mom's classmate) asked her when she wants me to be born. The options were September 5th/ 8th. Mom said, "5th is teacher's day. Being a teacher myself, I will be extremely happy if s/he is born on 5th. However, September 8th is a day that everyone in the world celebrates. I want him/her to be born on the 8th. . . . . . . . And hence, I was born on this special day)

Then:
Studied at Kendriya Vidyala (Central School), National Aerospace Lab, Bangalore. Passed 12th in 2004. During schooling, my deep interest in music and arts led me to pursue Bharatnatyam, Carnatic music and Piano. I went on to represent South India in the National Cultural Exchange program in 1998. Coming to studies, Math and Physics were my favorite subjects at school. My interest in math motivated me to excel in math winning the National Mathematics Olympiad in 2002.

After school, I went on to pursue my Mechanical Engineering at the erstwhile University College of Engineering, Bangalore. I am also the recipient of the prestigious Sir M Visvesvaraya Centenary Gold medal.

Now:

I work on Gas Engine development with Robert Bosch developing green fuel technology for the future. I joined this organization via the Technical & Management Program in 2008. It has been a wonderful experience!

As time went, I picked up new musical instruments. I now play keyboard and Bagpipe for local music bands during my free time.

I am also a travel enthusiast and have traveled the length and breadth of the country with my sweetheart bike!

I firmly believe that, "Society makes you what you are. And, Society starts at home."
