Hello Spartan Forum writers. This is my second year acting as the advisor for Skyline High Schools journalism class and the founder of the student driven online news network, The Spartan Forum.

I do my best to support my students by creating a professional environment that challenges them write stories that are both compelling and journalistically sound. We strive as a class to act independent, to tell stories that connect with our audience and act with honestly and integrity in pursuit of the truth.

This year I learned that students can thrive when given the ability to create their own projects and goals. When given open parameters, students drive and creativity can shine.
