Martin Ryan

Martin Ryan is a researcher and economist at the Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT) where he specialises in the economics of education - in particular, the economics of higher education. This includes work on participation, lecture attendance, study behaviours and the rankings of higher education institutions. He is also interested in econometrics and behavioural economics.
He is based in the Higher Education Policy Research Unit at the Centre for Social and Educational Research (CSER), where he co-ordinates a seminar series on higher education policy. He is a member of the Irish Society of New Economists (ISNE) and the Irish Economics and Psychology Research Group (IEPRG). He has presented his research internationally on many occasions.
