Ms. Mimiko

Yumi Mimiko is a Japanese makeup and skin care specialist withover 35 years of professional experience in Tokyo and Hollywood. After graduating from theElegance International Inc. Academy of Professional Makeup in Los Angeles in 1980, sheworked as a skin care consultant for Orlane, while also working in commercial shooting.

Yumi always remembered her mother being frustrated by paper based facial wrinkle patchesbecause they were difficult to keep on her face and were very uncomfortable. She also knewthat these patches did work when they were applied correctly. Decades after studying makeupin Hollywood, she discovered makeup artists also used patches to flatten wrinkles on actor’sfaces before close-up shots. Inspired by this, she began experimenting by making her ownwrinkle patches and using them every night. Now in her mid 60s after devoting 30 years toraising her two boys, she has finally embarked on a mission to make her dream a reality withToute Nuit!
