About Me

Hi! My name is Starr Moore and I am an enthusiastic and driven psychology student with a passion for unlocking human potential and exploring the intersection of science and behavior. I am driven by curiosity, a commitment to growth, and a desire to make a meaningful impact. As I embark on my journey of education and discovery, I am eagerly pursuing a career as a Behavior Analyst with a concentration in helping children and young adults living with Autism Spectrum Disorder. My focus is on developing strategies that optimize performance and well-being in diverse environments.

Who I Am

As a psychology student at El Camino College with a background in customer service and analytics, I bring a unique perspective to challenges involving workplace efficiency, motivation, and team dynamics. My education, rooted in a strong foundation of science from my magnet high school experience, continues to evolve as I deepen my knowledge of psychology. I thrive where creativity, research, and strategy meet.

What Inspires Me

I am inspired by the human brainᅳhow it functions and how understanding its complexities can transform lives and industries. I am deeply intrigued by the study of the human mind and behavior. More specifically, how the brain shapes our thoughts, actions, and interactions. Whether through research, practical learning, or real-world applications, I find endless inspiration in understanding the complexities of cognition and its impact on everyday life and relationships.

I enjoy immersing myself in diverse environments and experiencing the richness of different cultures. Doing so allows me the opportunity to grow and to learn from others in the process. Outside of academics and learning, when it comes to the leisure side of life, I enjoy reading, writing, watching and creating thought provoking content, constructing abstract collages, taking the scenic route, staying physically active, and caring for my two small dogs Bruno and KoKo, who remind me to seek balance and find joy daily.
