Margarita Skivofilakas-Capps

I live in the South, but I definitely am a San Francisco girl. I have been joyfully teaching for twelve years, and have taught grades two through college. I have a BS in Secondary Education/English, and a Master's degree in Instructional Technology. I am also a second year Pinnacle Leader, which means that I use, and assist others in using technology in the classroom. An English teacher by day, my secret desire is to be a singer and poet. his year, I was deemed "highly qualified" to teach social studies as well. Go figure! My husband and I have three amazing dogs. (One is really a cat, but don't tell him!) Our children are grown, so we dote on the boys pitifully. My love for teaching grows daily as I discover new ways to help students engage in learning.
