Melissa Seda’s quirky creativity has led her to a lifetime of creating movies. Inspired by old SNL sketches, at age 9 Melissa picked up a camera and began filming the humorous and odd world around her. What began as a dedicated hobby has turned into a passion.

While taking film classes throughout high school, Melissa had the unique pleasure of broadcasting her films on a live morning show, which she hosted regularly. After receiving many-a high-five and double-point in the hallway after her film debut, Melissa decided that the taste of sharing her movies to audiences was just too sweet to give up.

Since high school, Melissa has initiated laughter spells with her nonsensical youtube account dominated classes at the Seattle Film Institute, and will soon be graduating from the University of Oregon with a degree in Cinematography. Her films are of a wide variety, ranging from music videos and short skits to trailers and promotional videos. This is the fantastic result of a personality that is riddled with many interests; Melissa loves teaching herself new instruments, running through trails, sketching whimsical cartoons, singing in gospel choir and unabashedly living the life of an amateur thespian.

She is hoping to work in the film and entertainment industry some day, so that she can turn a few heads and spark a few laughs. For now, enjoy her videos.
