Hey there, I’m MASHILO. I’m a student living in Germiston. I am a fan of music, education, and movies. I’m also interested in food and reading. Mashilo Edna Sesera is currently a third-year student at the university of Johannesburg, majoring in physical sciences and life sciences. The 22-year-old girl was born and raised in a small village called Gemarke in Limpopo, and she is the youngest in her family with 1 brother and 3 sisters.

Growing up I enjoyed helping children and classmates with things like classwork and homework. And would sometimes teach them science subjects. Working with people is something I enjoy, and that’s how I developed the desire of becoming a teacher. Becoming a teacher is both an exciting and challenging endeavour, I am looking forward to experiencing. The main thing I love about becoming a teacher is having an opportunity to help and make a difference in children’s lives. This type of profession it also offers family friendly hours compared to other occupations. One gets to help learners discover new and important facts and ideas that are related to science and their everyday lives. Teachers are one of the important pillars of the society, you get to show learners a path to success and make studying easier for learners.
