I was diagnosed at the age of 27 with relapse/remitting MS.I have an 8 year old daughter that doesnt know me without suffering from this disease...Now at 42 year old I had a few relapses and fought like heck against them...I did the shot thing, but they HURT!.....LOL.....I have recently been put on the new MS drug Gelenya and it has helped..Pretty soon I will be starting the new "walking drug", Ampyra, just to get my normal walking gait back...I have had aunts and cousins on both sides of my family diagnosed with MS......So I am thinking that my MS is genetically passed on.....
