Lauren R. Jackson, M.P.A. is the Founder and President of Instilling My Ability to Naturally Embrace Excellence (IMANEE), Inc., a full service organization geared to to empowerment women and girls.
She received the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. full tuition scholarship to Seton Hall University where she obtained a Bachelors in Business Administration with a double concentration in Marketing and Sport Management and a Minor in African American Studies in 2009. In an effort to increase her knowledge about nonprofit management and its relationship to government, she remained at Seton Hall to complete Masters of Public Administration (MPA) in 2011. In May 2013, she received a Diploma in Paralegal Studies from New York University and is expected to obtain her Juris Doctorate (JD) from Howard University School of Law in May 2017. It is her career oriented desire to combine her passion for service and the law through providing low income areas and under represented minority groups with fair and affordable legal counsel.
Her passion to begin an organization focused on the empowerment of women stemmed from her familial bonds, her positive experiences with her personal mentors and her service with various organizations such as the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Scholarship Association, Spirit of A Woman Leadership Development Institute, Project Reach and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Through her academic and volunteer work, Lauren has acquired exceptional managerial, organization, communication and personal skills that yield effective results.
