Ms Logophiliac

I am a walking crystallization of everything that has happened to me. My identify is sort of like a hybrid of experiences searching for new ways to manifest itself through the encounter of everyday life. Therefore, my narrative of self is always inchoate and in the process of becoming. Similar to a story unfolding in time. Sort of like text. Isn't life a text?

We live in linguistic realities. My primary interests lie in exploring the linguistic prism through which reality is filtered, uncovering ways in which language is used as a tool to shape thought, culture, politics and life.

However my passions exceed the boundaries of language and spill over into other realms of human experience. I'm particularly fascinated with the process of quantifying and qualifying patterns of human reality to reveal insights about human nature on a thick level. If we are animals suspended in webs of significance that is culture, then I'm interested in how and why these webs become constructed to benift some and disadvantage others. I'm also into art, mostly contemporary. I have a major crush on Werner Herzog.
