I am...A motivational speaker by trade. A mother by nature. A Christian by the sacrifice of my Savior Jesus....amongst a bevy of other things.

So here is a little about my story. In very late October, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. To say I was surprised was to, I guess put it mildly. As a result, in a couple of days I will have a mastectomy.... yuck!

As you can imagine, some days I simply don't know what to feel. It's sort of crazy when someone sits across from you and tells you, you have been inflicted with what is for so many a deadly disease. But not for me, I promise you that!

Writing for me has always been cathartic. I have started to write again, creating journal entries throughout this journey. I write to help me. I write to help you. I write to let people see me, my pain, and my struggle. To share with you my victories! To let you all know that overcoming strife and pain is not only in my talk, but readily exists in my walk. To give those who share my plight a voice; to let them know that they are not alone and can overcome the biggest challenges!
