Although I spent the majority of my career in Cybersecurity and Information Technology, I'm also a graphic designer, web designer, songwriter, children's book writer, online contributor and Op Ed author. I'm also probably Batman, but you didn't hear that from me...

Until recently, I kept the writing portion of my identity (and the Batman part, lol) hidden from the world. I've even entered and won awards in competitive poetry writing, making sure I stayed under a pen name. Let's say I was just a little (extremely) shy about my writing. :)

After my husband passed tragically, I realized there is no room in our short human lives for shyness, and there is nothing to lose but time. For the next 5 years I underwent my recovery, grieving, and building, and with some hard work, rebuilt myself and accepted my life as a single mom. As part of my "reboot", decided to jump out there! I began a project that turned from an idea, into a small blog, and then into my first book! I had no idea how to publish, market, or distribute my work. I read every article, post, and how to book I could find on the subject, and after a lot of networking, know-how and inspiration from a few friends of mine, I'm finally ready to share my story with the world!
