M S Sridhar

M S Sridharis a post-graduate in Mathematics and Management Science and a Doctorate in Library and Information Science with over 36 years of experience in different capacities in three premiere institutions in Bangalore, namely, ISRO Satellite Centre, Indian Institute of Management and National Aeronautical Laboratory plus 2 years as an Information Science Consultant in IT industry. He was heading the Library and Documentation Division of ISRO Satellite Centre for over 30 years till retirement in February 2009.

He has published 4 books, 120 papers, and 50 conference papers / seminar presentations, contributed 5 chapters to books and 25 Open University course material (M Phil, MLIS and BLIS courses), delivered regular lectures on Post Graduate subjects such as Research methodology, Statistics for research, Bibliometrics, Library and Information centre management since 1990. His ‘Research Methodology’ and ‘Schools of Management Thought’ postings on Web received over two million hits.
