Tracy Gander

My career in technology started in the mid ’90s when I joined South Africa’s first digital agency, FCB Electric Ocean. Almost two decades on and I’ve worked for a corporate, a start-up, as well as a non-profit on a variety of brands across a spectrum of industries. I’ve been a member of an executive team, a studio head, reporting to the CEO; I have worked in the trenches in an enterprise organisation answering to a client; I’ve even been my own boss.

The connecting thread across my career is “experience”. At its core is the intention to capture attention and leave an impression – this may take in the form of a web app, a website, a contemporary art piece, a curated exhibition, an industry talk, an interior or even a community event. What is it that I do? I bring about impactful, shared experiences.

Currently, I am Creative Director and acting head of marketing for Saratoga.
