Michelle Stratford

For over 20 years I have assisted numerous small businesses and community organizations in the areas of marketing, grant proposals, event planning, business and strategic planning, project management, copy writing and research.

It is impossible to detail 30 years of professional experience here so please click on my links for more details about my past and current contracts as well as samples of my portfolio.

I have written over 200 Business Plans with a funding success rate of 100%. I wrote Mentor, A Successful Guide to Business Start-up which was nationally distributed by Industry Canada for many years. I have been a Seminar creator and educator in the areas of Business Planning, Market Research, Marketing Planning, Customer Service Strategies and more.

Some 6 years ago I decided to incorporate my extensive Hospitality and Tourism experience into the world of Event Planning and Project Management. I have been the Vancouver Island Co-coordinator for the British Columbia Restaurant and Food Services Association, the Executive Director for the Victoria Dragon Boat Festival, the Regional Co-coordinator for the BC Schizophrenic Society, the Coordinator – Community Living BC (CLBC) North Island Council, and the Co-coordinator for the Comox Business Association.

In addition I have coordinated a number of 'one of' Events: the 2008 Ronald McDonald House Charity Golf Tournament, the Opening Gala of the 2009 International Paralympic Competition, the 2008 Tall Ships Festival Food, and History Bites - An Edible History of Victoria to name a few.

I welcome your inquiries about my services. Please explore at your leisure.

Cheers!
