SURAJ JAIN

Suraj Jain is a graduate of B.E Electronics and Communication Engineering at Sri Muthukumaran Institute of Technology. He has proved to be an active IEEE Volunteer from 2012 and is also the Chairman of the IEEE Communications Society of his college. He has organized several events under IEEE and has conducted several IEEE awareness programs at his college.

Being a proactive volunteer he participated in the IEEE All India Students Congress held at Coimbatore in 2013. He was also a participant of the Leadership Meet 2012 organized by IEEE Region 10 GINI Madras Section in Chennai. To add on he was also a team member of the IEEE SMIT SB Team which conducts workshops, paper presentation competition, Online events and seminars for students and professionals members of IEEE.

He has initiated the formation of IEEE Communications Society in Sri Muthukumaran Institute of Technology along with his fellow student members which was followed by its grand inauguration at IEEE SMIT SB. He has conducted Online HR Interview “Crack the View” in association with IEEE Madras Section, workshop on Self Defense for girls. He wishes to pursue his higher studies abroad in the field of electrical and electronics engineering. Though we wishes to pursue his higher studies, Suraj has a deep interest interest towards technology right from his childhood and hence to get to know in depth would like to shake hands with startups and entrepreneurship.

He has shown a great interest in the field of Electronics in domains of Embedded Systems. He is currently working on a project to support farmers at their work.
