I received my title of docent (Adj. Prof.) in empirical criminal justice research at University of Eastern Finland in April 2020. I finished my doctoral dissertation about judicial decision-making in the Finnish general courts in 2016. My main research interests are largely in association with criminal justice, criminology and empirical (quantitative) legal research.
