I tinker, I toy, I revise

Like my writing, I am a work in progress. As a writer, I am constantly tinkering, toying, trying new things, always revising. Writing is rewriting. I write to explore new ideas, reflect on past experiences, and clarify my thinking. And my writing changes as I write. What I intend to write is not always where I end up. My pages are messy, filled with arrows, circles, scribbles. But for me, writing is about the journey. Each rewritten page is not a failure, each rough draft is not a waste of time, but a necessary part of the process. My writing, even when it looks finished, I see as a more polished rough draft because I always have more to learn, more to write.

And this extends to my life as well. I am not just a teacher. I am a student, a tech geek, a mom, a crafter, a blogger. I tinker, I toy, I revise. I am a work in progress, a rough draft.
