Michele Thompkins is devoted mother and woman of many hats with +17 years of experience in the sales, communication, public relations and marketing. As CEO of Protégé PR, Michele works with clients to capture attention, sell their ideas and create internet buzz. Michele works with both organizations and individuals. She enjoys her work as a Independent Bedroom Kandi Boutique Consultant, where she blends high-energy, humor and cut to the chase style of motivation and encouragement. Michele is also the producer and co-host of The Gossiping Heifers podcast covering celebrity news. The Gossiping Heifers show aired on Houston's own KCOH radio station and on Houston's local television stations KTBU and UTN in 2011.
Michele hosts monthly webinars in sales training and networking that are free to the public. The webinars are focused to give back to individuals in the business community and to encourage all professionals to use available resources. In additional to hosting monthly webinars Michele hosts mixer events in the Houston area. Events hosted range from business networking mixers and ladies only events.
Michele is also an active member of the Wealthy Sisters Network and an advocate for Autism. Michele's passion for autism awareness having lived and learned through the ups and downs of her son having Asperger syndrome, high a functioning form of autism.
Michele is passionate about supporting women who want to contribute their talents toward a calling that fully inspires them. She is also committed to building a community and culture where women’s leadership thrives at unprecedented levels.
Michele lives with her family in Sugar Land, TX. In her spare time, she enjoys film production, graphic design, event planning, music, movies, travel, cooking, hanging out with friends and family, volunteering at her son’s school.
