Monica Tockman

I am a bi-coastal girl. I began in Palm Springs, CA, spent High School and College in NC, had a 4-year affair with NYC, and now I have returned to my roots in CA. I wouldn't trade my experiances or friends I've made for anything.

With a background in event coordination and sales, and radio broadcasting, I am searching for my perfect career. Event management is my first passion; I thrive on client interaction and providing excellent customer service!
I received my BA in Communication Studies from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. From there I went on to manage the event sales and coordination of Airlie Gardens, and plan weddings in the Coastal Carolina Area. Once I moved to New York, I began work with SiriusXM's talk programming department. While with SiriusXM I worked professionally and creatively with many top name celebrities. I was able to technically run a live broadcast and edit pre-taped segments.
My culmination of experiences have shaped me to to handle new challenges in changing, fast-paced environments. I have worked for small and large businesses and I am looking for a company I can grow with personally and professionally.
