I have spent the last few years as a Product Manager & Development Manager for an award winning software house in the financial arena. My focus was on the Private Wealth area dealing with demanding client who in turn work with Ultra High Net Worth individuals.

I sucessfully ensured the delivery of artifacts (documents/code/test plans etc...) from various other teams & departments and guarantee that these flowed properly and are of an appropriate level of quality. Strategic/tactical enhancement was large part of the role with budgets generally in the $1-$2m region.

I've worked with mixed teams working with a variety of methodologies and my Product Management team and I worked to keep these in sync and on budget and of the highest quality possible.

I don't believe in following artifical processes, We used an adapted Agile/Lean method based on the organizational needs rather that strict adherance to "the rules" whilst maintaing audit compliance.

We delivered one yearly "Generally Available" software releases to the market as well as monthly releases to implementing clients and defect fixes delivered on a weekly basis or critical fixes can be delivered on an ad-hoc basis depending on the criticality of the particular issue.

I managed (on average) a team of 5+ Business Analysts, 10+ developers, ~6 testers, 4 system configuration experts, across multiple locations & timezones.

In the past I've been responsible for the recruitment, training and monitoring/mentoring of new staff into a development organization. I have been involved in performance benchmarking the product and Sales engagements as well as Critical client support.

The product itself is built around a highly scalable framework with extremely high transaction throughput (as required by large scale Tier 1 banks).

I'm currently using my experience to help other Product Managers in their roles by letting them drawn on my expertise to build best practice processes and find effective ways of working for their specific target markets.

I have 12+ Years experience in the IT world with 10 of those years being in core Development for the Temenos T24 Product.
