Muffy’s addiction for all things “wheeled” began as a very young child with an infatuation with motorcycles - much to her parent's dismay. In her teens, the ideal weekend night involved window-shopping at car and motorcycle dealerships, as well as attending local car shows with friends.
Always a bit eccentric, her love for cars and bikes has been evident throughout her life: from matching her dress to the turquoise ’59 Thunderbird she went to prom in, to obtaining her motorcycle license, followed by her SCCA racing license. After a successful career as a paralegal in business and sports/entertainment law, she broadened her horizons by accepting a position as the Operations Director/Paralegal for Auction Systems, an auction firm based in Phoenix, wherein she was tasked with creating new procedures and processes, and streamlining the business model in preparation for extensive growth and franchising. As a result of her leadership, The company grew to several locations throughout the US, as well as overseas.
From there, she combined her two passions: cars and auctions - purchasing cars, coordinating light restorations, and selling them at auction. Of her many noteworthy “car-related” accomplishments, she holds a world record hammer price on a 1957 Ford F-Code Fairlane Skyliner Retractable sold at the Barrett-Jackson auction for $330,000.
In 2014, Muffy was tasked to set up a retail division of Barrett-Jackson. The successful Barrett-Jackson dealership, known as The Barrett-Jackson Collection, is located in Scottsdale.
Muffy's hobbies include riding motorcycles, racing, and target shooting.
