Mufti Abdullah Tamim is a pioneering Islamic scholar and journalist from Bangladesh, widely recognized for bridging the gap between traditional Islamic scholarship and mainstream media. Born in Pathankot village, Comilla, Bangladesh, he embarked on his academic journey in the Qawmi madrasa system, eventually completing his advanced Islamic studies at Jamia Shaykh Zakariya and Dhaka Alia Madrasa. Alongside his religious education, he pursued secular studies in English and completed his BBA under the National University of Bangladesh.

Mufti Abdullah Tamim’s career in journalism began in 2017, and since then, he has made significant contributions to various media outlets, including Amader Shomoy, OurIslam24.com, and Somoy TV. His appearance as a field reporter during the "March for Gaza" rally in Dhaka, wearing traditional Qawmi attire, marked a turning point in Bangladeshi broadcast journalism, making him the first Qawmi scholar to work as a mainstream TV reporter. His coverage of the event went viral, earning praise for his articulate and professional reporting.

In addition to his journalistic work, Mufti Tamim has also served as an educator, contributing to the development of Islamic education in Bangladesh. He has held various teaching and administrative positions, including Education Secretary at Jamia Madania Rowjatul Uloom in Comilla and Senior Teacher at Markazush Shaykh Arshad Al Madani in Dhaka.
