Mugisha Omar, professionally known as @__omar.color, is a Rwandan photographer, colorist, and director of photography based in Kigali. Born on September 20, 2005 in Nyarugenge, Kigali City, Omar is a passionate visual artist specializing in photography and video color grading, with strong roots in African cultural storytelling and modern creative expression. He studied Multimedia and Production at” Father Ramon Kabuga Technical Secondary School ”, where his creative foundation was shaped through hands-on training in visual communication and storytelling through multiple professional internships, including: ● Saltel Company – 1-month internship in Multimedia & Production ● Seza Image Company Ltd. – 1-month internship in Photography & Videography ● EdTech Solution Company Ltd. – 1-month internship in Graphic Design & Animation With a strong eye for mood, detail, and emotion, Omar excels in transforming raw visuals into captivating stories. His portfolio spans black and white photography, traditional African portraiture, cinematic color grading, and creative media design. His creative workflow is powered by industry-standard tools including DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Photoshop, Capture One, Adobe Premiere Pro.
