Muhaimen “Maming” Batabor Pandaag – Community Leader and Youth Advocate (Known as Zekie)

Muhaimen Batabor Pandaag, affectionately known as Maming or Zekie, was born on October 30, 2000, in the Municipality of Lumba Bayabao, Lanao del Sur, where he spent his childhood.

He completed his elementary education at Sultan Cosain Naga Central Elementary School in Marawi City, followed by secondary education at Datu Mala Muslim Mindanao Islamic College Foundation. He pursued Senior High School at Iligan City National High School – Main Campus.

Maming is the youngest son of the Late Sultan sa Maribo, Datu Hadji Mohammad “Ebrah” Saransamun Pandaag, and Bae Hadja Fatimah “Bayol” Bangcola Batabor, and the youngest among six siblings. His elder brother, Datu Amiyalongan B. Pandaag, currently holds the title Sultan a Samporna sa Poona Masiu, Lanao del Sur, while his sisters — Hayamerah B. Pandaag, Entisar Pandaag, Jamaliah Pandaag, and Jamerah Pandaag — are all married.

He earned a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Lanao Central College, Inc. (LCCI) in 2021, as a scholar of Dra. Bae Okile S. Mangondato. Immediately after graduation, he joined LCCI as an Administrative Staff Member in the Graduate Studies Department and serves as a Faculty Member in the Department of Social Work.

In 2025, Maming successfully passed the Social Work Licensure Examination, earning the professional title Registered Social Worker (RSW). He has since completed a Master in Public Administration (MPA) and is pursuing a Master of Science in Social Work (MSSW) to further strengthen his expertise in social work and public service.

A committed youth leader, Maming is the Founder and President of the Maribo Youth Organization in Lumba Bayabao. He initiated the Maribo Clothing Shop, a livelihood project designed to empower single women and local farmers, which was recognized as Top 4 among the 24 Youth Innovators in Lanao del Sur, receiving grant funding to implement the initiative. His advocacy focuses on social welfare, community development, and sustainable growth.

He actively participates in several youth and civic organizations, including the Coalition of Moro Youth Movement (CMYM). In 2021, he represented Lumba Bayabao in the Datu Bantugun sa Ranao cultural pageant in Lanao del Sur.

Beyond his professional and civic achievements, Maming is known for his determination, humility, and passion for social transformation. He lives by the principle that true success is shown through action, not words.
