Imran Qureshi

Born in Karachi in the year 1963. Completed primary education in Karachi. Upon achieving good results in Intermediate got enrolled with NED University and obtained Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering in 1987/88. I am also a diploma holder of Associate Engineer. In the year 1979 I won the declamation contest held by Pakistan American Cultural Center.

Upon completion of Electrician Engineering went to USA from where I completed Masters in Switch Gear (Power Generation) from Pace University – New York.

By the grace of Almighty Allah, I have been doing this noble work satisfactorily purely on humanitarian Grounds thinking of being rewarded by Allah in my eternal life.

To enhance my professional abilities I went to United States of America and stayed there for a decade. During my stay in USA I utilized my educational background and involved myself in the construction business. I successfully built four high-rise buildings in New York.

During all the period in United States I never forgot my dream and crave of doing something for my country and its people. Owing to that reason I came back to Pakistan in 2003 and formed a company “United International Group Private Limited”.

The aim of the company was to start a business which could give a support to the economy of Pakistan and provide source of income to people. The company decided to open a luxury hotel which will serve the purpose of increasing the reserves of foreign exchange. The hotel is in operation under the name of Ramada Plaza Karachi. (Details attached) employing over 250 employees.
