Yameen, Founder of GhostMention
I’m Yameen, founder of GhostMention, where I help brands build an organic presence in the online communities that matter to their audience.
My journey in community marketing started more than five years ago. Since then, I’ve worked across industries including forex, travel, health, and several other niches. Working in different markets has taught me that there is no universal formula for organic growth. Every platform has its own culture, expectations, and way of communicating.
A large part of my experience comes from working directly with communities on Reddit, Facebook, X, Quora, Threads, Substack, and independent forums. I’ve also launched and grown communities from zero, which gave me a deeper understanding of what actually encourages people to participate, engage, and stick around.
I eventually turned that experience into GhostMention.
Today, I lead a team of 25 people focused on helping businesses become more visible through community-led and organic marketing. We research where a brand’s potential customers are already having conversations, understand how those communities work, and find natural opportunities for the brand to contribute.
I’m particularly interested in marketing that doesn’t feel like marketing.
Rather than pushing a product into every discussion, I believe brands get better long-term results when they first become useful. That could mean answering a question, sharing relevant experience, contributing an insight, or simply participating in the right conversation at the right time.
My approach to organic brand growth is built around relevance, consistency, and trust. Whether it’s Reddit, Quora, X, Facebook, Threads, Substack, or a small industry forum, the goal remains the same: earn attention instead of interrupting people for it.
That philosophy continues to shape how I build GhostMention and how we help brands grow through online communities.
