Meghwar

I am Mukesh Meghwar, i was born on 04-04-1988 in Kapri Moridistrict Badin Sindh. I am student of LLB final year at Sindh UniversityJamshoro.

Currently, I am theDeputy general secretary of PYF (Progressive Youth Forum Pakistan) And anactive member of Soc Dem Youth Network Pakistan, I am Board of director ofUELECT Pakistan and, Co-founder member of Pakistan's first Hindu Rights basedNewspaper "Sandesh" as well.Significant results include several published versions of first newspaperSandesh representing Hindu minority community in Pakistan. I have alsoimplemented successful promotions of Hindu community and their rights through avariety of media national and international channels. Sandesh is volunteerorganization which is basically working for the right of religious minoritiesof Pakistan. Weekly Sandesh newspaper is in the umbrella of Sandeshorganization.

In November 2014 I was selected for “Emerging Leaders ofPakistan” (ELP) fellowship in Untied States of America for a month. Now I ammember of (PUAN) network.

I have worked on domestic violence and gender justice andConducted group discussions and seminars for both men and Women in rural areasof district Badin, Pakistan.

I have also worked on bonded labor issue, helped release anumber of families and written articles for newspapers.

Some of the other issues I have worked on are blasphemy,talibanization and minority rights. I have experience of social mobilization and trained in capacity building and leadership with solid background in organizational operation along with proven track record in management and organizational development. This embraces training, capacity building and project management. My areas of expertise include team mobilization, process coordination and expert in organizing and monitoring seminars and workshop.

I was also attached as Regional Coordinator at the MehergarhA Center for Learning regional office Hyderabad Pakistan during 2008 to 2012, position in which I have acquired significant and progressive experience for three years. I coordinate support to in the development, implementation,monitoring and evaluation of national and regional programs. In addition, Assist in strengthening individual capacities for health, human rights,education, domestic violence and Mehergarh graduates performance assessmentthrough monitoring and surveys.
