As per Census 2011, India has an IT penetration of just 9.5%. At the heart of the digital divide is the issue of Affordability. With less than 1 in 10 households having a computer, India has produced a 100 billion dollar IT industry with iconic brands like Infosys, Wipro, TCS etc. If the IT penetration can be increased to around the 30% mark in China or a 45% mark in Brazil, we can all imagine the impact it will have on every level of the Indian economy. This is where we believe we can contribute towards creating a brighter future for millions of Indians over the next 5-6 years.
