In my 19 years of IT experience, I've performed many roles within the SDLC stack in several industries. From QA in telecom billing, to database administration and PL/SQL development in energy, to my current role as a data architect and developer at a contingent workforce management firm; I've focused on the data - how it is modeled, stored, accessed, and archived.

This broad experience has led me to several emergent technologies: data visualization with R and Tableau, machine learning with several platforms, and the Neo4j Graph database; but I also often find myself going back to the old standbys SQL, PL/SQL, and database performance tuning!

To paraphrase Tom Kyte - apps come and go; but the data is forever.
