Mun Shing Cheong
Marketing & Digital Leader in Hong Kong
Mun is a creative growth marketer and digital evangelist with over 16 years of cross-cultural experience working across Hong Kong, London and Kuala Lumpur. Her experience spans across the areas of integrated marketing, branding, digital strategy, design innovation and transformative technologies.
In her role as Enterprise Marketing Lead at Microsoft, she led the strategic marketing efforts in the Hong Kong subsidiary across the enterprise and commercial space.
Before Microsoft, she helped launch MADSquared.com, a start-up creative media and design services agency while still heading up Alpha Asia Pacific’s Media team where she oversaw the delivery of projects and creative media solutions covering Asia Pacific markets.
Prior to that, she was Head of E-Business at Sun Hung Kai Financial and was instrumental in setting up the digital strategy blueprint for the firm and transforming the firm's service delivery through technology. She also spearheaded the development and launch of the firm's first mobile trading application and built the firm's online trading arm, SHK Direct, into a successful, award-winning brand. She began her career working as a Web Developer in a software development firm in London.
Mun is a graduate of the Financial Engineering Program from Stanford University and also hold a Master of Science degree in Electronic Publishing from City University, London and a BA (Hons) Marketing degree from Middlesex University, London.
