I am a Delhi-based senior journalist and the founding editor of ETTelecom.com, a telecom and technology-focused news platform of The Economic Times, one of the Asia's leading business dailies.

I lead a small, high-performing editorial team, and oversee end-to-end newsroom operations with role spanning across edit strategy that includes content curation, exclusive articles, breaking stories and regular reporting as well as managing and delivering a daily newsletter to an industry database of more than 500,000 subscribers.

With over 15 years of experience in journalism—primarily covering the telecom and Information & Communication Technology (ICT) sectors—I write extensively on policy, regulation, and key industry developments shaping the digital ecosystem.

Began my career as a freelance writer, I actively contributed to several prominent English-language newspapers such as The Times of India, The Hindustan Times, The Pioneer, and The Indian Express.

Beyond journalism, I have a deep passion for poetry encompassing English, Urdu-Hindi, and Punjabi languages. I am also an active voice on microblogging platform X, where I engage with issues of public importance—ranging from international politics and social justice to child welfare—often advocating for accountability and informed discourse.

With a strong belief in freedom of speech, I see it as a fundamental right and a cornerstone for a healthy democracy.
