I once picked up a camera and haven’t been able to set it down. I have since grown in my new realized fascination for lifestyle photography. I purchased my first Nikon back in February of 2010. Photography to me is sharing the precious moments, I have captured with my clients and knowing they can look back at them forever!

Here’s the thing that I’ve learned so far on this journey…we’re all creative beings. We just have to tap into our own unique creative bent. For a long time I allowed fear to keep me from pursuing photography, but I have decided that I don’t ever want to make a decision based on fear.

So what if I happen to fall flat on my face and embarrass myself? Well, ok that happens. But what if I end up loving it, and what if my pictures can move or inspire someone? What if my soul comes alive more when I take pictures than when I don’t?

To my family and to my community of friends that continually challenge and provoke me to live a life of depth, meaning and purpose: thank you. Thank you for fighting for this dream with me.

I really love what I do and I spend a lot of time refining, perfecting my work… It is simply my passion. So I may fall on my face, but maybe I won’t… Here’s to the journey.
