In the year 2000, Murdvert began making beats, using a video game beat generator, a TV and a cassette voice recorder. By 2004, he had graduated to using Ableton Live. The Illinois resident, originally from Barstow, California, has continued making experimental instrumentals. Murdvert's influences range from Madlib, J. Dilla, Dibia$e, and various Los Angeles Low End Theory resident DJs/producers.

His debut EP "Beat Making Rehabilitation: After Visiting Hours" is out now on Soundcloud and Bandcamp.
