Four (4) years working as senior software engineer in Rwanda Development Board. As a software developer, I focus on software development and implementation by doing an analysis, object oriented design and development using different technology. I am founder and Managing Director of Atlas computer system, an IT company focus on building web application solution. I was working as Teaching Assistant at Kigali Institute of science and technology, where I was in charge of preparing lessons, giving them to students, preparing for exams and giving out result at the end of each semester. I am a member of Girls in ICT Rwanda Group where I am in charge of fundraising, Through this group, we help the young girls to understand the role of ICT and to use the ICT in their activities through mentorship . I am a member of KLAB Rwanda where students, fresh graduates, entrepreneurs and innovators come to work on their ideas/projects to turn them into viable business models. I also spent seven(7) years ( Five (5) years of bachelor’s degree in computer Engineering and Information Technology at Kigali Institute of science and technology , nine (9) months of training and eighteen (19) moths of masters of science in Information Technology at Carnegie Mellon University in Rwanda ) in IT field related courses.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Tool for project Management: Scrum, Pivot Access.
-Experience and advanced knowledge in using Version Control: SVN and CVS.
- Programming Languages: C++, Java/OO web development and design skills.
- Databases: MySQL and SQL Server.
-Front-End: Expert UI Design using JSP, JavaScript (jQuery / AJAX), CSS, and HTML, Typo3, Joomla, Ajax, Dreamweaver.
- IDEs: Eclipse, Net beans, Visual Basic 6.0
VOLUNTEER ACTIVITIES
- Mentorship programs under the Girls in ICT Rwanda (The group consists of women of all ages in the ICT field and includes entrepreneurs, professionals and students) .Through this group, we help the young girl to understand the role of ICT and to use the ICT in their activities through mentorship.
- Volunteer mentor for the Tecnovation Rwanda 2014, Through this group I will train the secondary school students to develop an apps by using different technology .
ONGOING PERSONAL PROJECTS
Develop mobile apps called Smart Taxi which will connect the Taxi cabs and motorbike drives and riders by improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the transportation business industry
