I'm a Cyber Security Specialist at the South African Reserve Bank, where I work on security engineering, identity security, and governance for critical banking infrastructure. Over 15+ years, I've gone from fixing student Wi-Fi in a Vaal University residence to migrating 8,000+ servers to Azure Arc at ABSA and implementing ISO 27001 from the ground up.
I care about GRC that actually works in practice, not just on paper, and about using automation to turn compliance requirements into things a team can operate day to day. Currently pursuing a Master of Computing focused on explainable AI for cyber decision intelligence, alongside ISC2, ITIL, and Microsoft Azure certifications.
