Hello my name is Murielle, I am new to cooking not to food and It took me a long time and some courage to finally decide to write about it.

What bugs me about recipes, is often you don't get as much information as you would like . You rarely get the how and why you need to do that in order to understand and improve.

Why do you need to add a pinch of salt when you bake?

Why are my Chinese noodles always like plaster when it says cook for 4 to 5 minutes when I have exactly done that?

For example I love baking but cakes are my nemesis and they are not many books or blogs ( I know nowadays you can contact bloggers and ask questions) that tell you oh by the way don't do that because the result is going to be a disaster. So I hope I can be that person that is going to share as many tips as possible and receive some. Obviously I want to try as many recipes as possible and share them with my fellow bloggers.

So one I day I can say you see this dish use to be for me (I eat everything I cook even if it isn't nice) and my dog, now I am proud to put it on the table for my friends.

So yes I am kind of new to cooking, I have a sense of humour, I am creative, I like to try new things and eventually want to bake cakes that I am proud of.
