7500 Good Wireless Router
It kept dropping the configuration information, it became apain in the neck I would loose my internet, and the file would be empty, afterreseting it 4 times I decided to just return it.
Good wireless router 7500,definitely delivers on its promise of strengthening wi-fi connection. Mybrother set it up and said it was very simple with clear, easy-to-followdirections. He has been using it since (I only use it when I come home onweekends), and says that it has been a definite improvement on the last one.
Installation was problematic, wizard was useless, did notdetect my cable modem IP was using 192.168.1.1, and would fail to connect untili changed my LAN setting. Internet speed and wireless coverage vastly improved.
I have had no trouble streaming movies after I upgraded tothis router. I am impresses with this router and have recommended it to myfriends.
Devices and computers remain connected to the wifi networkbut the wifi network loses its internet connection. You then have to switchbetween and among the three wifi networks.
Not the greatest in getting set up instructions if you areusing as access point. I ended up using my main router as the Internetconnections and this router as a separate network.
When my router died I purchased this as it's replacement.Wireless signals are strong, easy to monitor it's status via a PC or an App onyour smartphone.
They only support them for 1 year past the purchase date andthen they don't care about you. I tried contacting support and got a reply thatpretty much told me to buy a service plan or they couldn't help me. I'm neverpurchasing a netgear product again
Everyone uses wireless internet for Netflix, internet, andgame systems. I use it for my Dish work, network, and everything else everyoneelse does. Everyone has fast and reliable internet access and fast download.
Thought this would be a great router and it is, if you arein the same room as it.
